Orthopaedic sports medicine focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for athletes at all stages of development: recreational, high school, college and professional athlete. These services range from an assessment and modification of athletic mechanics to physician-directed rehabilitation to operative reconstruction of damaged structures. Minimally invasive arthroscopic and open procedures of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle are offered, as well as surgery to replace damaged cartilage with the newest techniques in cartilage regeneration.
