The Department of Orthopedics’ physicians specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of disease and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. All of our physicians are fellowship-trained and represent all eight subspecialties within orthopedics specialty and hold faculty appointments at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).

Orthopedic Trauma
The department specializes in the treatment of difficult fractures, dislocations and other injuries to the extremities and the pelvis. Our Orthopedic traumatologists have special expertise handling the treatment problems and complications that often occur after these difficult injuries. That expertise includes the management of complex rehabilitation plans, fracture complications including non-unions, malunions, short limbs and infections, as well as, limb-lengthening and deformity corrections and corrective osteotomies.
