UH Community Health Needs Assessment
University Hospital is pleased to present the 2021-2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), conducted in partnership with the City of Newark. The CHNA takes a deep dive into the factors influencing health problems in the community. This report helps UH identify the community’s healthcare needs, evaluate the hospital’s program effectiveness, and identify impactful strategies for designing health and supportive care. The concerns, themes, and suggestions for improvement identified in the CHNA will be used by University Hospital as we continue to set strategy and pursue our mission to deliver exceptional care to every patient, every time.
