Partnering with Our Communities & Improving Health for Generations to Come

Community & Population Health promotes the public’s health through health programming and the use of prevention strategies that engage and work with community populations in a culturally appropriate manner. Through population health, University Hospital aims to understand the distribution, social determinants and changes in the health status of populations by tracking and measuring indicators for health outcomes and exposures between and across communities.

Our efforts are focused on preventing the onset of future negative health outcomes, target and develop interventions and programs for communities, and elevate the health of populations disproportionately affected by certain health conditions.
