Community Health Education, Outreach and Screenings

The University Hospital Population Health department attempts to bridge the gap between distributing information and improving the health of communities through education, promotion of healthy lifestyles and interventions.

Our community health programs include health education, health screenings, educational workshops, trainings, train the trainer, referrals and resources. The Population Health department also participates in community events and health fairs, partnering with community not-for profits, state organizations, faith-based organizations, schools, senior adult facilities and the like.
