The Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science (IOVS) provides consultation and treatment services for general and specialized ophthalmologic disorders. The fellowship-trained staff is actively involved in developing new treatments for blinding and disfiguring conditions of the eye, lid, and orbit and provides ready access for patients to novel therapies. Centers of excellence established by these physicians include: the Cornea and Laser Vision Institute, the Center for Macular Degeneration Treatment and Research, the Ophthalmic Laser Center and Center for Minimally Invasive Treatment, the Eye Trauma Center of New Jersey, the Fight for Sight Children’s Eye Center, the Keratoconus Foundation, and the Low Vision Center.
