The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at University Hospital offers the latest treatments for heart, lungs, airways, and esophagus. We perform Robotic Thoracic Surgery using the advanced DaVinci Xi System, as well as Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery to diagnose and treat a vast majority of patients with lung cancer and other conditions of the chest.
Our surgeons work collaboratively as part of biweekly tumor board meetings with Rutgers University and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, and specialists in the departments of Oncology, Pulmonary, and Radiation to offer a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to each individual patient.
