University Hospital’s Pulmonary Diseases Center diagnoses and manages disorders of the lungs, including:

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (i.e. chronic bronchitis, emphysema)
• Asthma
• Interstitial lung diseases
• Bronchiectasis
• Lung cancer
• Infectious lung diseases.

We also specialize in the evaluation and management of lung nodules and dyspnea/shortness of breath.

We have particular expertise in sarcoidosis, tuberculosis and non-tuberculosis mycobacteria infection. State-of-the-art out-patient diagnostic services are provided including flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy with advanced procedures including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), thoracentsis and pleural biopsy.

In addition, we offer full pulmonary function testing, methacholine challenge testing, exhaled NO measurements, exercise evaluation, and home oxygen assessment.
