Our outstanding physicians and staff have been at the forefront of many specialized areas in physician medicine and rehabilitation.  Our scope of services and programs is diverse and comprehensives and include:

Cardiac Rehabilitation – The exercise physiologist provides customized exercise programs for patients with coronary heart disease to restore cardiovascular function, to modify coronary heart disease risk factors, and to promote behaviors that lead to improved health and social independence.

Occupational Therapy – Occupational therapists (OTs) utilize everyday life activities with individuals or groups to support participation, performance, and function in their pre-hospitalized roles. Occupational therapy services are provided for rehabilitation and the promotion of health and wellness to those who are experiencing an illness, injury, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory-perceptual, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts and environments to support engagement in occupations that affect physical and mental health, well-being, and quality of life.

Physical Therapy Physical therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

Speech-Language Pathology– Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) assess and provide treatment for individuals with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.  They manage and supervise programs and services related to human communication and its disorders.  Speech-Language Pathologists treat those individuals with disorders of communication, their families, caregivers and other service providers relative to the disability and its management.

Therapeutic Recreation– Therapeutic Recreation Specialists use recreation / leisure activities to promote functional behavior, to improve or maintain physical, mental, emotional, and/or social functioning, and to assist individuals in expressing independent leisure lifestyles.
