Located in Newark, New Jersey, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey at University Hospital is home to a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who work together to provide patients with the most advanced medical, surgical and radiation oncology services available. The team helps patients and families make appropriate decisions for cancer care.

Patients are evaluated for multi-modality cancer treatments including chemotherapy, minimally invasive surgical options, radiation therapy, and novel clinical trials including immunotherapy, targeted therapies, precision medicine, and new combination therapies.

Visitors to the cancer center in Newark are greeted by a spacious lobby filled with natural sunlight, and the patient treatment areas are kept bright and comfortable to create a safe space that promotes healing for our patients as they receive treatments.

 

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Non-Chemotherapy Infusion services are available on Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.
