The Department of Radiology at University Hospital provides state-of-the-art imaging services in four locations: University Hospital, Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ, and the Doctor’s Office Center. We are committed to providing our patients and referring physicians with insightful subspecialty interpretations as well as rapid reporting of critical findings.

Our radiologists in the department are accredited by the American Board of Radiology and have advanced fellowship training with academic appointments at New Jersey Medical School. The department is divided into subspecialty sections, and patient imaging will always be interpreted by physicians with significant knowledge and experience in those particular areas. In addition, our technologists are certified and registered in their areas of specialty.

The imaging facilities at University Hospital are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), an organization that maintains rigorous standards of imaging quality and patient safety. Images are stored and reviewed digitally on PACS workstations, and are available remotely in a password protected manner to referring physicians.
