Providers of LGBTQIA+ Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine

The Division of Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine (D.A.Y.A.M.) provides primary medical care and sexual & reproductive health including HIV/STI screening and treatment as well as PrEP to youth ages 12-26.  D.A.Y.A.M. also provide all methods of contraception, including long acting reversible contraception, and gender affirming hormone therapy for transgender youth.  D.A.Y.A.M. has a patient-centered developmental approach to care is catered to meet the unique needs of the adolescent and young adult population. The D.A.Y.A.M. clinic and programs are a safe space for all LGBTQIA+ youth.

The clinic is located at 90 Bergen St, Suite 4600, Newark, NJ 07103. The clinic hours are Monday 1-4pm, Tuesday 11am to 4pm, Friday 11am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Walk-ins are welcome and patients can schedule an appointment by calling 973-972-4600 or contacting Dr. Padilla at 973-487-6837 or Dr. Bentsianov at 973-986-4396.

Additionally, D.A.Y.A.M. provides HIV and STI counseling and testing as well as PrEP counseling at our offices located at 65 Bergen St, GA 134, Newark NJ 07107.  These services are provided Monday thru Friday from 9-5pm.  Walk-ins are welcome and appointments can be made by calling 973-972-8216.
