Join University Hospital’s Emergency Medical Services for its 1st Annual Community Outreach Cookout. Join us for free food, fun, games, giveaways, music and more! You will have an opportunity to learn life-saving skills (including lessons on CPR and bleeding control), meet our providers, check your vitals, explore or equipment, touch-a-truck, and talk with healthcare professionals about your medications and health questions. The event is hosted in partnership with the University Hospital Foundation, the Newark Police Department and the Newark Fire Department.
