Pride Parade and Festival
12 PM
Parade will begin at Lincoln Park (intersection of Broad St. and Clinton Ave). Festival will take place at NJPAC (1pm - 6pm)
Join us in celebrating Pride, progress, and community at the City of Newark Pride Parade and Festival on Sunday, July 13, 2025!
We’re looking for enthusiastic and supportive staff members to represent our organization during this vibrant and meaningful event. Whether you’re passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy, enjoy connecting with the community, or simply want to show your pride — we welcome your involvement!
Event flyer details:
Rain date: In case of severe weather, the rain date is Saturday, July 19, 2025. Updates will be shared via email and text.
Arrival and check-in: Arrive at Lincoln Park by 11:00 AM, at the intersection of Broad St. and Clinton Ave. Look for University Hospital’s designated group and staff.
Parade route: Broad St to Raymond Blvd to Park Pl to Center St to Mulberry St, ending at Mulberry Commons Park.
Festival: The Newark PRIDE Festival begins at 1:00 PM at Mulberry Commons Park and ends at 5:00 PM.
Theme: “Reclaiming Our Time Legacy of Resistance”
