Where: MSB, Grand Foyer / B Level, 185 South Orange Avenue, Newark, NJ.

Why: The New York Blood Center has declared an emergency blood shortage, and each donation can make a difference. Every pint of blood can help up to three patients in need.

Before you donate: Eat well, hydrate and be in general good health.

What to bring: A photo ID.

Who can donate: You must be 17 or older, or 16 with a parental consent form, and meet minimum weight requirements. For full eligibility requirements, please visit nybc.org.
