FREE Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening

Where: Mount Vernon Elementary School, 142 Mount Vernon Place, Newark, NJ 07106. Screening takes place on the “Mammography In Motion” mobile unit.
Breast screening (mammogram) – who can be screened:
- Women age 40 and older
- Never had a mammogram, or last mammogram was 12+ months ago
- For insured and uninsured patients
Cervical screening (pap smear) – who can be screened:
- Women age 21 to 65
- Last pap smear was 12+ months ago
- For uninsured patients only
What to expect: state-of-the-art 3D imaging, a comfortable and discreet space, no prescription needed, insured and uninsured accepted, and personalized navigation for abnormal results.
