What is offered: Mobile breast screening (mammogram) and cervical screening (pap smear).
Where: Newark Police Department – 2nd Precinct, 1 Lincoln Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104.
Breast screening (mammogram) eligibility: Women age 40 and older; never had a mammogram, or last mammogram was 12 or more months ago; for insured and uninsured patients.
Cervical screening (pap smear) eligibility: Women age 21 to 65; last pap smear was 12 or more months ago; for uninsured patients only.
What to expect: State-of-the-art 3D imaging in a comfortable and discreet space. No prescription needed. Insured and uninsured accepted. Personalized navigation for abnormal results.
