The Division offers a complete range of services related to the management of pregnancies from normal to highest risk. It is a key component of the hospital’s state-designed Level III perinatal center. Particular expertise is available in obstetrical emergencies and complications, such as premature rupture of membranes or premature labor, multiple gestation, intrauterine growth retardation, third-trimester bleeding, postmaturity, severe preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders, and infectious diseases.
A multidisciplinary approach is used for the management of complicated pregnancies such as those involving HIV infection, diabetes, hypertension, RH sensitization, and vascular disease.
