The Neuromuscular Center is partially supported by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for patients with known or suspected neuromuscular diseases. Congenital, hereditary or acquired muscle disorders, myasthenia gravis and amyotropic lateral sclerosis (ALS) are among the disorders treated at the Center.
