Jess Backofen

Chief Development Officer, University Hospital Foundation

Jess Backofen serves as Chief Development Officer of the University Hospital Foundation. In this role, Jess oversees fundraising for University Hospital’s mission through its partner foundation. Previously, Jess served in senior leadership at the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, Friends of Children, and the American Cancer Society. Jess graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and serves as the Development Committee Chair on the board of the League of Women Voters of New Jersey.
