KEITH GREEN

Keith Green is President and CEO of United Way of Essex and West Hudson, a position he has held since 2007. He has had a professional association with the United Way Organization that began in California in 1991. He came to Newark from Los Angeles, where he was Senior Vice President of its United Way. In addition, Mr. Green has extensive experience as a corporate trainer and an organizational training consultant for major companies.

Mr. Green attended Tuskegee University, the executive leadership program at UCLA, and the Union Institute in Los Angeles, from which he received a BS degree. He is the recipient of many community partnership awards, including those from Leadership Newark, the Girl Scouts, La Movida, Inc., and Habitat for Humanity, Newark. He has served on the community advisory boards of the Rutgers Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies and the UMDNJ School of Nursing. Mr. Green is a resident of Newark.

He was appointed to the University Hospital Board of Directors on September 22, 2014.
