Your UOA provider and supporting staff attentively provide the full spectrum of general and specialty obstetrical and gynecological care and treatment services you (and your unborn baby) need to stay healthy, including annual pelvic exams, family planning, colposcopy, urogynecology, high-risk obstetrical services, amniocentesis, OB/GYN ultrasounds and gynecological oncology. When additional specialized testing is required, your UOA provider will refer you to professionals capable of providing that expertise, right here at University Hospital.

Providing a well-rounded care plan, given by a patient care team. UOA provides our patients with a complete package including social workers, case coordinators health educators and a nutritionist on-site and ready to answer your questions or offer advice during the course of your visit.

Insurance: UOA accepts a wide and still expanding range of insurance plans. If you are in a participating HMO plan and you have already selected an OB/GYN provider, switching to UOA is as easy as calling your insurer and requesting the change.
