Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response

The University Hospital Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response (UH CEPR) offers community, healthcare, and first responder training throughout New Jersey. Our office is located in Newark, NJ on the University Hospital Campus. UH CEPR also houses the Community Training Center (CTC) which offers a wide array of American Heart Association Courses to UH affiliates as well as the Public. Our courses include CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, First Aid, PEARS, and Bloodborne Pathogens.  Our full course offering can be found at the course registration page in the menu on the right.

The staff of the UH CEPR includes first responders, clinicians, and educators who collectively have responded to 9/11, The Miracle on the Hudson, and Hurricanes Katrina, Irene, and Sandy.  Our knowledgeable instructors strive to provide all students with a program that meets their educational needs.
